when they're not a pup anymore?

How large a disc diameter when you consider a pup no longer a pup.
When I got my rectic last September he was approx. 3" in diameter.
Now he's over 7"! Is he still a pup? His claspers are over 1" long!

my thoughts are,
when they are both sexually mature.

so males when claspers roll
and females when shes pregs for the first time. (i guess)
