when to add the fish

I have my fish in my 65 gallon tank just finish setting up my 125 gal water been running 5 days with old sponge and carbon from old tank ...how long should i wait before putting fish in new tank getting antsy........any answers please

Depends how many and what type you'd like to put in. I wouldnt sugguest putting more than 2-4 in at any time, dont wanna overload your system (speaking from experience)

When temp is good, toss em in. just add some prime, and do a couple water changes first week

The time to add fish is a few hours before adding filter material from your other tank.The bacteria in the media need fish waste to stay alive.

i would of added them as soon as i finished setting up, if you use all the filters from the old tank.
i set up all my tanks this way and even have filter media from filters i am not using on my main tank so i can set tanks up when needed.
