I just added gravel to my waterless tank and I wasnt completly sure if I should be adding it yet, and It came to me that I really dont know when to add everything to my tank. What is the best order to fill your tank?

umm add gravel then water than plants and drift wood and w/e then get the filters running and then wait 3-5 weeks for it to cycle u can do it all on the first day

Yeah, put the gravel in then plants, driftwood, etc... and then fill with water. Once the tank is full then add the filters and start them and let the tank cycle. Usually it takes 4 to 6 weeks for a tank to completely cycle. Good luck.

I've always done the opposite.....water then gravel....then plants and driftwood...........but that's just me........always worked too............

Well it looks like I'm headed in the right direction but I need to wait 3-6 weeks before I put fish in?:nilly: I thought a week

Thats kinda what I was hoping for. I was just planning on waiting 3-4 days, testing the water, and if everything checked out, I want to put in a pair of tiger Oscars

If you have a cycled filter you can put fish in right away then add the filter

I have a wet dry, how would it work with that?
