when to move aro?

how big should my silver aro be before(currently 12-13 in) i move him with a 15in pacu and 13 in emporer cichlid ?

Generally I like the aro to be at 2x the length of big cichlids. Not sure that can happen for you. Your just gonna have to move it and watch carefully. Man you must have a huge tank to keep those three monsters.

Be carefull with the aro and pacu. My silver is about 15-16" and I put him in with a couple of pacu--the biggest one being around 15". The pacu nipped on the aros fins and actually chewed off one of his barbells!!! Since then I have moved the pacu into a temp tank until I can re-home them.
