When to Rearrange..?

Hey everyone, this may be an odd question but I was wondering how often do you rearrenge your tanks?
I rearranged my tank like a month ago and already I am contemplating new ideas for it.
Is there such thing as "too often" because i don't want to stress out any of my fish...?

Any inputs?

I usually do it about once a month because there seems to be alot of waste that accumulates in gravel under the rocks, and I only do it to vacuum the gravel there, although this may be a bit much. I do notice it does tend to stress out the fish, but I try to do it quickly and they do adjust just fine after about 20 minutes in the newly setup tank.

I do mine like once a year, maybe a little more, if I get bored with it or if I get different fish that like different habitat and especially new tanks.. I rearrange them a few times until I'm satisfied and then I'll leave it b for a while.
And yeah, I would say there is such a thing as rearranging too often. It does stress out your fish.. especially if you are changing everything, including gravel and you would have to almost completely drain the tank, move your fish, put the new gravel in and let it settle and then get your water perms right again...

jw how big is your tank? what kind of fish do you keep and what are planning on changing?
