Looking at a wave front 90 gallon, seller said the wood at the bottom front looks bowed out, think it’s wise to attempt a reseal or is that a sign of death?

The stand can always be replaced. If this is a plywood tank on the other hand then it's a dead tank unless the bottom is replaced and the entire tank is resealed.

Granted just because ya can't keep fish in the tank doesn't mean that ya couldn't house a reptile, amphibian, arachnid or rodent in it.
