Ok, so i'll be honest i know nothing about corals and what defines a "coral" I see threads about softies and mushrooms and I am lost...

I have a 29g tank that has been set up for three weeks-ish. I have one 2" ocellarius clownfish, one 2" Diamond Goby, a couple peppermint shrimp, 3 small hermits and 3 astrea snails. I have had fish in the tank for about 2 weeks.

I have a 20lb "live sand" bed, 20 lbs of live rock.

When is it safe to start adding corals and what should I be adding? Do they just attach to the LR?

I do have a T-5 h.o. light system with 2 10,000k lights and 2 actinic and a Koralia 750 circulation pump....

I attach most of my corals to the LR using superglue.

Your tank is most likely cycled, but make sure.

Water quality should be good...nitrates at 10ppm or less on h2o change day (before the change) and phosphates undetectable.

I dont know the wattage of your lights, but it sounds like you will at least be able to grow softies, and maybe lps and some low end sps (montipora).

Sounds great... what are they? LOL

In terms of lighting power I don't know. The guy at the LFS said it was a good light so I got it ( i know bad on my part) Here is a link if that helps http://coralifeproducts.com/product/hoods-light-fixtures/ It's the t5 ho lunar

Man that is a crappy website...they dont even tell you how many watts their bulbs are. Soft corals are safe...you can try some cheap lps...and see what happens. I do frag packs for cheap, PM me if you are interested.
