When will my Severum reach adult coloration?

So I've had my two Severum for about two months and I love them. My green Severum is the smallest at 2", and the Larger (I'm pretty sure it's rotkeil) is about 3.5". The green Severum is already started to become green, and the Rotkeil is currently orange. What time and how long before they develop the adult coloration? If someone could also help me with tips for sexing them that would be greatly appreciated.20160531_202102.jpg 20160531_202012.jpg
 
Your Rotkeil will get his adult coloration when it is about 4.5-6 inches. I have no idea about your green one. Males will generally have pointier dorsal fins and more spangles on the face, anal fin, and dorsal fins that looks like streamers.

The rotkeil has very long streamers, and I'll have to check for spangles.
 
The green Severum had a rounded dorsal, but pointed anal fin. I couldn't tell if it had spangles or speckles. The rotkeil was resting under the driftwood so I couldn't look at him.

I would say same but I've only had my two oldest for 11 months.
