When you use your liquid test kit do you...?

Hold the vial directly on the color card? Or do you hold it back an inch or so under a light ? I have noticed doing both of these shows very different results in the tests coloring I feel so stupid right now

Yeah I put it directly on the card as well.

I followed your advice and my readings are much better I got a very bright clear bulbed halogen lamp and my readings on my tests are much better compaired to underneath fluorescent lighting
