in my 180G, I was gonna use pfs, but the particles are angular. would like to have rounded to be safer for "whatever" ends up in there. maybe some eartheaters, any cats, etc.
I have very fine silica in my 75G Geos. it is very fish friendly, but a PITA swooshing around by water flow.
Anyone in IE or OC Calif, maybe even LA know where I can buy some of the above brands? only because hubby drives thru there sometimes.
or any ideas? I don't know if hardware stores can special order it.
If I can't get that, would it be easier on fish to mix silica with pfs? or what?
