where are armatus collected from in s.a.?

I dont know what huapetas means...a river? Google brings up nothing.
Armatus have a VERY large range. From Venezuala to Suriname and Guyana in the north, west to Peru and Columbia, south to Bolivia and back up north east in Brazil.
I suspect the armatus imported recently were collected in Peru. Maybe Columbia. Fish are hard to get out of Brazil and Venezuala and Bolivia does not allow the export of WC fish.
