Where are the fry?

The eggs on my pair hatched(I think) but no fry! 30 mins before I found the eggs gone, these black things were squirming on the eggs, and then poof, they were gone! Where could they be? Is it normal for the parents to hide the fry??

Yep. Quite normal. The parents will usually dig a pit and transfer the wrigglers. I've got green terror wrigglers and the female moved them about 3 foot away from where they were laid.

ok but i have no idea where they are they are guarding a pit with some rocks in it about a foot from the spawning site, but i see no fry!

They could have moved them, or they or some other fish could have eaten them.

yeah but they are guarding this area like crazy, nipping the algae magnet when i clean the glass with it, finger chasing, and making sure tankmates stay far away....

they or some other fish could have eaten them.

theyre are still some dead eggs left on the rock, if they had eaten them they would have cleared them all out like the last time.

Gone. Hopefully they will spawn again in a couple of weeks.
