where can i buy a cheap good co2 system?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Buying a used setup is about the only way to find a "cheap" one. I think I paid around $130 for my complete used setup.

cheap and good do not go hand-in-hand, just saying.

but look on ebay for the milwaukee regulators, they go for about $100 and are decent. the rest of the kit you can piece together

Sadly enough, if you stay in the aquarium trade long enough this is a truth that you must come to face. On a side note, I think that the DIY are actually underrated after making my second one three weeks ago. Worked out a lot more of the kinks.

Check my thread DIY CO2.

Lots of great advice on how to make one. I plan on making a video tonight.

I am thinking about posting a thread where EVERYONE can show their different plans for DIY co2 diffusers/systems. I think this would be cool just to see how everyone is doing it because my diffuser that I made is pretty complicated, but I feel like it does a good job. (Even though I want to upgrade to a glass one) :naughty:

I have a regulator I build for sale. It is identical to the ones Rex sells. $125 + shipping. It is normally best to try and find a cylinder locally. And there are many ways to do a bubble counter and diffuser.
