I am buying a 120 gallon aquarium and I want it to be all South American species and I want to have a Red-Tailed Payara AKA Hydrolycus tatauaia
in the aquarium with some Red-Tailed Barracudas and Green Terrors and Tiger Shovelnose. The problem is that I can’t find any Red-Tailed Payaras from any website or wholesaler or breeder anywhere. Does anyone Know where I can buy one. I will be ordering all the fish about May of 2021 so I don’t need to know where to find one now.

Don’t a few of those fish on that list get close to or even over 2 feet?

You should not house a tsn in that tank unless you have a bigger tank (8x4) ready to go.

It’s not that season for them. Later this summer you will start seeing them. But the vid has all of the odd ball fish shipping on hold. I’ve been looking for Payaras, dorado, atf. All the countries they come from aren’t shipping right now
