Where Can I Buy Bichirs?

AVALover...

The absolute best source for a variety of bichirs in the United States, in my humble opinion, is Toyin at Rehoboth Aquatics (www.rehobothaquatics.com). I've had wonderful success with a number of bichirs that I've purchased from him...his prices are quite reasonable...and he has the widest variety available.

Be prepared for sticker shock when you start factoring in shipping though. It isn't cheap. You might want to try to talk your favorite local fish store into ordering some from Toyin. Let them absorb some of the shipping costs.

or just find the closest petsmart, they normally have them and thats where i got mine.

yeah but they usually only have senegals, also i don't really like petsmart for actual fish. mine was sold to me as a palmas. i usually only go there for materials. (large chains are cheapest)

Hey, thanx for the reply. I actully already e-mailed them and they don't carry the species I'm looking for. Which is weird because I consider it to be the most common. I want an albino senegal. I don't have any local fish stores around here besides petco and petsmart. I'll do what Razman said and go check out petsmart. If they don't have one, then I'll see if they can order one in.

Thanx,

ive never seen a albino sen at petsmart, sorry. and sens are more common then albino sens.

My local Petsmart alway's has albino senegals instock...goodluck.

Toyin deals with wild caught specimens. Senegals and albino senegals are farm bred. If you can't find it at your LFS, maybe you can try aquabid.com.
