So I have 1 Silver Arowana, 2 Small about 4-5 inch Bichirs(grays), 3 Blood Parrots (small 4-5 Inches), and a small 6 Inch Black Ghost Knife.

Currently they are in 2 separate Tanks. Arowana is By itself, the others are together in a 20 Gallon(Temporary).

Once September Comes around Im planning on Combining them into one large 75 Gallon, Then to a 210 When i have the money.

As the summer goes on, I will continue to buy good and a large variety of foods for the group of fish(excluding Arowana.)
Their foods vary from Pellets, to bloodworms, beef Heart, Mealworms and flakes occasionally.
Arowana has pellets and Crickets and sometimes mealworms(If He accepts it).

But once the Summer Ends, I will not be at home and their variety of food will change for a winter/fall diet. I want to find the cheapest foods and please cheap does not mean sh*t foods. I need food that is acceptable and able to nutritional for them as I am away considering my parents will be the ones feeding them daily. I will come back from college mostly 2-4 times a month to change the water since i do not trust them. But as for the foods i want a cheap and easy food to feed them! Petsmart and other local petstores i know carry them, but i want possibly cheapers especially for the arowana online! please if you can post some links :) im sure this will attract more people and help others out anyways. thanks!

By September I doubt if they will fit in a 75, you better get the 210 first.

As far as food, other then O1, new life, hikari, can go to butcher and get beef heart, tilapia, shrimp all that stuff

The cheapest, yet best food you can buy would be raw fish and shrimp/ prawn/other seafood. Very nutritional and very inexpensive. I don't know how your parents feel about cutting up fish filers and shrimp however as it can be a hassle if It's someone else's fish.

see the strange thing is that, even though you say they may not fit the 75 I have had these fish for almost 3 weeks now, and i have not seem that big of a development...

Many farm supply stores sell, trout, catfish, or bluegill pellets. 20 lbs for sometimes less than $20. These are as nutritious as anything else.
And a 75 is too small for even 1 arowana.

Trust me on this lol, you need to get rid of some or get a way bigger tank then 75, the silver is even going to outgrow your tank .

well the silver is in a 55 right now. hes doing fine. constant water change and so on. Lol He is definitely growing fast. But the other 6 in the 20 gallon are chilling out. I cant put them together yet. I need them to grow large enough that the arowana doesnt eat all of them.... the arowana is about 18 right now.

They arnt growing because it's completely overstocked and if the aro is already 18" it's already 2 big for a 75 with just the aro in the 55 it's overstocked common 55's r about 12" wide that makes your aro 6" bigger than the worth of the tank which is bad get a bigger tank or they will be stunted
