Where can I buy the net like pouch to put together all the biomax? I want to use the biomax for my aquaclear 110 HOB. I do not want to throw it all in without the pouch.
Get those laundry bags. Filter mesh are way overpriced...
Just bagged and zip them. And it only cost like a buck for 1 piece here.
Note : Most of them have metal zippers. Do note not to immerse the metal part in the water. Corrosion = not good. For me, I just use a cable tie, tie them up and cut away the zip part.
This is how I did it for my Seachem matrix in my FX5
Works great for me, not only prevent them for dropping into the holes, but also allow ease of maintenance, I just dump the whole bag into a bucket of aquarium water and agitate it for all the gunk to come out instead of having to pick them up one by one (yes I used to do that...). Takes like an hour, now only less than 5 mins
I don't know a dang thing about this kinda stuff.. but I was gonna suggest basically the same thing.. like panty hoes.. or just a knee high.. or even a buy a small piece of mesh at Wal-Mart or any place that sells fabric...
panty hose works but its very fine holes.Any bags from the super market-vegetable section has them or will work also. i.e. onion bags, garlic bags etc. You can also ask the seafood section while you are at it.They often ship clams, oysters, mussels etc in bags.
I like the idea the laundry bag idea from spiritofthesoul also up there.Never seen them before.
You can buy the little ones that you need for a small hob filter like that at most fish stores. But petco and petsmart have them if you have those near you. Allso can get them super cheap online. Just google fish tank media bags and you should get a billion places. Or sites like www.drfosterandsmith.com is a good place to. Good luck
