I'm looking for tiger rays, and they seem to be hard to find, i currently have BD leos but i want a change so anyone know where i can find them?

good luck with tigers or flowers .
youll have to order direct from peru or columbia. you will not be able to keep them with your leos. i am looking for some myself i killed my tiger a few months back. currently only have a flower.imo flowers are nicer dont over look them.your water is garbage up in oil country just as it is here in cow town.terrible for keeping flower and tigers.our water is so different from the pure water of upper amazon its real hard to keep them and get them established. if you want one tiger order 5 or 10 if your ordering direct.if your lucky enough to convince the only guy in canada to sell you his very established tiger than youll have a real good chance lol
There is a couple vendors who get them. One is on another board and sells them fairly cheap and in good shape. Can point you in a direction of someone who has one from him and it is gorgeous. Don't know if he ships to Canada though. As for as keeping a flower with blacks mine is doing great and I believe it is CoolMbu and Keepinfish who also keeps flowers with blacks. I just have to make sure I feed enough at once so she gets her share and small enough pieces as she chews much slower while the blacks or marbles just inhale everything.
ordering any tropical fish from usa to canada is a joke.theirs a $200 usa fish and wild life fee on top of everything,and when you pick it up canada customs will charge you duty .best thing to do is order 3 or 4 of them from an exporter excpect loss but they will only be $200 or less direct from peru.from a vendor it will be $800 maybe more.
thanks for the comments guys, i'm thinking i may just get one to go with my two leos. I was going to sell them but now i dont really want to haha so if its 12-14" its perfect ( a little bit bigger than my female leo so it'll be a fair fight haha that and i feed a lot so..) Right now its just finding one though that is difficult....
If you import a 14" tiger it will come I'n rough.look for pups.
Also tigers and flowers are the most difficult potamotrygon to keep .the are very sensitive to everything.the shock of shipment than put I'n with aggressive savage rays like leopoldi will be a for sure death. It will take time before you can mix them .
Also if you like your rays to have full tails order them small.

so when you say small what size do you mean? I'm selling my Black Diamond Leos so no worry about them but as for the tigers what would be a good size?
