I've come to the realization that my petsmart nets are no longer big enough to hold my fish... :nilly:

I actually had a big one from a LFS and my fish busted a hole right through it....:(

I'm thinking about going to the sporting good store and picking up a net met for fishing but wanted to see if you guys had any suggestions.

Aquatic Eco has many different types and sizes.

python net is the best
yes the same people whith the sweet siphons
and thay dont stick to catfish

Basically you want a net that doesn't have any seams in it, as these are very abrasive to the skin. AquaticEco or any other aquaculture supplier would be a good choice.

If you have big fish you also want pretty finer mesh. I made the mistake of using a course mesh net on a large koi a few years ago and I destroyed its fins. They still haven't fully grown back together perfectly.

Try a local bait store, but I usually get my nets at a sporting goods store too.

Pillow casing!
