where can i get a redtail baracuda

i am looking for red tail baracuda's, i am in ct, i can not find them anywhere. are they illegal. i searched and searched on here and can really find any info. what are good tank mates.

they are relatively common, have you asked a lfs if they can order some for you

I've been looking for one too. They haven't been on the LFS lists in a while, maybe they are out of season or something.

They have them online at ThatPetPlace and I think River Wonders has them, 3 for $75, but I want to get one locally so I don't have to pay shipping.
