I live in South Eastern Michigan and I was wondering where I could get my hands on a young sturgeon besides catching it myself and taking it home (dont really wana pull something out of the wild ): ) and around how much would it cost? Yeah I know these get freaking HUGE but i do plan to make it a huge moat/pond and when it grows out of that I plan to release it into my uncle's huge 2-3 acre man made pond that is like 12 feet deep.

my friend said he say little ones on ebay, but idk i never saw them

Pet stores get them sometimes, but I never seen them in a chain store just individule stores. I have seen a lot over the years in this type of pet store.
I have only seen Starlit sturgeons though.

you can get a shovelnose sturgeon @ cichlid station.com for 40.00 + shipping. just click on the reserve stock page, they will be on the 2nd page.

they should start popping up in LFS in late june-july

TFD shouldnt be too far from you, and they usually have them, so i bet shipping wouldnt be too expensive

and if you come across any albinos, PLEASE let me know!!!
