where can i get cheap gravel!!!

I just bought 3, 40 pound bags of river pepples for 11 dollars from home depot :cool-1:
 
if you get it from home depot or any hardware store (Which is the only way to go:)) make sure you rinse it REALLY well, otherwise you'll have mud in your tank.

I just spent about 3-4 hours cleaning the 120 pounds, it comes caked in mud :yuck:
 
well i use my 5 gallon bucket method... drill lots and lots of small holes in a 5 gallon bucket and put gravel in and rinse that seems to cut down the time alot...but still im thinkin its gonna take a while...:eek:
 
I cleaned 200 lbs in less than an hour
take a couple of buckets and drill a lot of holes in the bottom, elevate the bucket off of the ground, and hose it down like mad, stir it a little, and hose it down some more.
It's easy that way:)

25 bags at 40lbs at 3.00 a bag :cool-1: 75$ that saves me a lot of money i would have spent 500$ at my lfs on 1000lbs...:nilly:

I thought about that, but I didnt want to ruin my buckets, I know there cheap but I only have a couple
