I saw a nature group with state ranger after the cold spell looking for pythons in an area I went myself to look for them (take pics) but I was to scared to walk in as grass was to high and few gator corpses which had never seen gave me the creeps .
You can't tell whats in that place lol.
They were there all day found nothing and from what I was told it used to be a good place to find them.. I read 9 out of 10 if not more of the chipped pythons are dead.
Nature has a way of taking care of nature as even iguanas which I had by my house no longer see.

Considering I never saw a dead gator on land than saw 3 - 6 to 8 footers in same area I think they may have been shot for kicks by low lifes . It wouldnt be the first time.
Some had round holes in their heads but I was not sure if it was the vultures as didnt see any bullets but it was weird.
