I would like to know what every one does with there giant fish? When I see pics of people big catfish they are never near max size. Honestly we all read this great web site but I bet 80% of us do not have the monster tanks to hold these giants. Where do they go? what do you do with them? I have seen pics of guys\girls with three or four shovelnose or redtails in a small tank(150). Now honestly who gets these fish after the average owner can not care for it? Or do the stress out and die?

My husband's friend owns a fish store and he bought my 24-26" red tail catfish from me to display in his store, and my 4, 22" Pacu's are on display in a resturant around my dad's girlfriend's house.
I get alot of the large cats coming in they just sit in the pond getting fatter.....

That is the other problem, People do not understand the true length of these fish and actually think 450-500 gallons is enough.
This summer I have a 2500 gal tank in the making anyone wants to get rid of some of their big cats let me know!
yeah ..there are people have 13 inches iridecent shark in just a 50 gallons tank...i wonder if they have a pond
