Where do I get a Malawi eye biter?

I have wanted one for years and now I got a basically empty 55 gallon (And another 55 full of Malawi cichlids and a black calvus(Spelling) Where do I get one I have never seen them in stores and I go to the exotic shops in Sacramento. How much should I expect to pay ?

Check our vendors.
I'm in the UK and they're pretty common, and you should expect to pay around $10 for juveniles and considerably more for adults.

Very common cichlid. Check with your local LFS.

Funny I have never once seen one in a LFS

BTW if he is a juvie what are the chances he could live with my bumblee and blue haps in a 55 gallon if the other fish were his size or bigger ???

It might be an electric blue ahli not sure which its a bright solid blue cichlid with a fairly big mouth

Its hard to predict,he could get chased around or vice versa.A store out here has albino eyebiters.

hmm All my cichlids chase each other around I thought it was normal ?
