Where do you buy PFS at?

As the title says, where do you buy pool filter sand at? I was just at walmart and nobody ever heard of it there, so then I went to Lowes and they had some really ugly gray sand the that they said was PFS for $25 for a 10 pound box! It isnt exactly pool season i know but, i want to find some of the white PFS that some people said they get a like 60 pound bag for like $5 !? Where do you get the stuff at?

I have bought it at Home Depot and also seen it at a Leslies pool supply and lowes.The bags I have bought from Home Depot were 50lbs for $6.00

I have a pool supply store in town and a 15lb bag is something like $12

leslies sells the best imo, however any pool speciality store should carry it.

I just bought 2 bags at Leslies yesterday...50lbs for $7 a bag....Very clean sand.....woke up this morning to a crystal clear tank.....

If I remember correctly, the more expensive stuff is treated with something to keep pools clean/clear. Don't use it in tanks.

You need to find the $5-10 for a 50 pound bag type. Go to a pool specialty store. My Lowes/HD doesn't carry PFS either.
