Get your Hydrocynus and Payara's?

Is there a specific vendor you use online or here in MFK?

I am mainly curious about the Hydrocynus Brevis and Hydrolycus Tatauia.

Thanks in advance.

Or Hydrolycus Scrombrodies

Bump... Do I need a secret password?

My LFS carries all of them. I don't think anybody has them for sale all of the time unless they are seriously overpriced and can never sell it.

Tats seemed to be in season last July/August and they were for sale on aquabid and many stores were able to order them as well. Hydrolycus scomberoides is the most common vampire tetra/sabretooth barracuda you will see in stores. Just keep your eyes open and they will pop up. As for Hydrocynus brevis, you probably need to wait for an MFK vendor to get some in.

Try asking Snookn21. He should have what you need.

Haha, I actually just got my 6" FL Gar and 5" Red Tail Barracuda from him this morning. Both shipped in excellent condition. I will shoot him an email to see whats up.

Thanks for the help guys. I would much rather have a Tat than a Scomb though.

Sharkaquarium had some tats the last time I was there. They were pricey though plus the shipping.Tats seem to go up in price every year, no matter who has them.

Keep your eyes open and frequent the vender forum. They pop up from time to time. I could have sworn I saw some tats for sale here recently. Don't waste your money on scombs unless you just want some practice.

I checked. They are selling Armatus for a rediculous price, but they are titled as Red tails...

Makes me curious. Are they Armatus or Tatauia... Their lack of pictures on their site make it impossible to tell.
