Right now I'm keeping my feeders in a fully filtrated and heated 10 gallon. To tell you the truth, they are EXTREMELY spoiled. I really want to turn the 10 gallon into a planted, and add a fire-belly newt and maybe some dwarf puffers, but I don't know where else to keep my feeders. Any suggestions from the most helpful people in the world?
You can get those in-tank quarentine box with removable sides.
During feeding time, just remove the side and let them swim to their doom.
Either that or your monster swim into the box.
i house my feeders in 3 60 gal tanks. each one i rotate in order to when i put them in. mine are store bought so i have high temp, high salt, and also use an ich treatment in all 3 tanks. the goal is to feed healthy feeders to my fish.
We're not all lucky enough to live in a country where it's warm enough to turn the heaters off.
Don't have to rub it in.
I say once the weather start to act like spring maybe move them into a 10G-20G rubber maid tub with a sponge filter.
If you want to just be even more "care free" maybe move them into the furnace room. Room temp is fine for most feeders.
I currently keep my feeders in tanks but will most like move mine into tub & possibly outdoors when weather permits.
