Where does one buy more styrofoam boards?

My stash of saved styrofoam boards and insulation fluff from being on the receiving end of dozens of fish shipments has finally run dry. I have styrofoam boxes but these run a little pricey at the post office because of the weird dimensions, so I don't ship with them, and while I know I'm probably never going to use them, I also don't want to hack them up for scraps.

Where can I get more styrofoam boards, how much do they usually run, and are there any other things I can use?

Home Depot or Lowes sells 1/2", 3.4", & 1" thick sheets that are 4ftx8ft or 1.25ft x 4ft. Craft stores like Michaels may also have them in smaller sheets

+1 for the hardware store…not terrible price to get the 4’x8’ sheets of pink, blue or white insulation foam…when i shipped rays id just line reused cardboard boxes from my work with 1/2” pink foam, triple bag and out lol… never had a problem. If ur using small bags u can still use 1 larger “box” size bag for emergency/leaks…

Keep an eye out for neighbours getting new parcel deliveries. Herein the uk everything you buy comes packed in a box that’s way too big and is packed with polystyrene pieces. The best are outdoor furniture- they come with nice usable sheets of the stuff. Thankfully my nephew is a plumber/diy h guy and can get me good qtys, so now I am using it not only to stand the tanks on but to put round four walls to keep the heat in!
