I was trying to get my father to cut some stones for the aquarium and he was telling me that JDs don't need a flat stone on the bottom on top of the sand they can lay their eggs on a flat stone placed like a wall which would mean the JD would be side ways while sticking the eggs to wall,is that true or possible?..I thought it had to be a flat bottom.I know mouth breeders do.For all I know it may be an excuse not to cut the stones.If I had the tools I would it myself.
