Where should i go to look for good pics of young parachromis, particularly freddies, jags and loiselle. Have found some that i think are freddies, shop owner doesnt allow cameras but the pattering on them is unlike the books i have. The books i have mainly have sub adults or pictures of breeding colours.

If anyone can input pics of their juvies that have a positive id that would be great

doesnt allow cameras? thats pretty strange/ suspicious :screwy:

you can look on here using the search option or go to google and search in the images tab.

I know ive been searching the net for images and obviously here. They have the gill markings of a freddy but above the lateral line theres black and silver squiggles. They have blue hue on top and yellowish to silver base.

I know he said someone took pictures in the past and reported him for bad practises but everything is fine there except for feeding feeders to everything.

Narrowed it down to either loiselle or freddie as some of those pics look like it but it looks like both, to me anyway.

thanks for those.

just sorting the tank in readiness for cycling. complete strip down and redesign.

So tempted if it isnt a jag to do a pair as i have enough contacts to sell on fry. Is this just a pipe dream for a 90 (to be 125 soon)

It is done, 4hrs of cleaning and refilling the tank is redesigned. Will get pics tonite once the 'dust' settles. I warn some people this maybe a little shoptankesque but compared to a fully planted with sand mess. I very happy with result.
