I'm going to start off by noting that I'm not 100% sure about the rules here. On cichlid-forum.com, naming vendors outside the reviews section is against the rules (don't ask me why.) If the same is true here, I'm sorry, tell me and I'll fix this post.

I'm trying to stock my 75 gallon, which is just finishing up fishless cycling. I've basically picked a stocklist already, which is: 16 Ps. demasoni, 7 L. caeruleus (yellow lab/electric yellow), and 5 Ps. sp. "acei."

I'm considering http://livefishdirect.com, but they do have a couple less-than-stellar reviews (http://cichlid-forum.com/reviews/view_retailer_review.php?id=2791&pg=1)

Is there another mailorder place where I can get good quality yellow labs, acei, demasoni? I've yet to find anywhere with a better selection.

What size fish are you looking to get? I have all three species of fish that you are interested in. Ps demasoni are 1 inch, acei 1.5" yellow labs .75" Theya re all in the same tank now with no issues.

Oh, and I was also considering adding 1m:5f albino Ps. socolofi to that stocklist, not sure if it's too much though.
davesfish looks pretty good, I'll definitely give them a call. I'm also wondering if anyone here has dealt with livefishdirect before.

I have yet to actually put in an order with Dave so I can't say in all certainty, only that I've heard many good things about him. There is another good alternative I've used too. http://www.cichlids.net Owner of this site is Peter Rubin and he's taken my calls on questions, and many of his stock have ended up in my tanks via other hobbyists. He lists both tank raised as well as wild caughts. He's worth a look at.

I've never dealt with them in ordering and shipping as they're local to me. But they have a huge selection of Africans and I've never once seen an unhealthy fish in any of their tanks. Their stock is top notch.

In fact I picked up some sp. Acei from them just the other weekend. You can check out my post in here: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=243256 to see exactly what their Acei's look like.

Rofl, the mods moved this TWICE, from the rift lake cichlid section, to the marketplace, and now general aquaria. Now, since this thread applies specifically to rift lake cichlids, I bet it's going to be moved back where it came from.

As far as livefishdirect did you look it up on the search threads? There has definitely been people on here that have recieved fish they didn't order in place of something else and one that I know of that got a deformed fish... Other than that i can't speak from personal experience...
