Hey folks new member here, long time fish fan.
I'm wondering if anyone knows a vendor in the so cal area that sales tanks at a resonable price. I'm looking to go some what big, but also have a price range i'm thinknig of. So far I've found a place that has a 100gal w/ stand and lights for 247.
Now if I can get a bigger tank at that same price or maybe even less I would go for that. I'm a carpenter and building a stand should not be a problem, other then I'm a lazy ass. lol... Anyway great forum glad I found it.
Oh yea while I'm at it, say I end up with a 100gal, I've always liked Cichlids and I'm already thinking I'm going to get a couple oscars, prolly 2 convicts, also like the terrors and just a few others that I've seen in the last few days online.
How many fish would you recommend having in a 100 gal tank. I've had tanks b4 but nothing over 50 gal. The last time I had a tank going was at least 8 years ago, think it was a 30 gal and I remember having convicts that actually had fry. So Anyway just wanted to get some tips before I get back into this obsession. At least this time I will obsess, "smarter".
