Where to buy acrylic? - Philadelphia, PA

Hi all! I haven't posted on this forum in quite some time. I'm at a point where I am looking to build a new tank, and I'm doing some acrylic shopping. I'm located in Philadelphia, and have checked out Everything Plastic (both in their showroom and online), and they quoted me about $12.14 per square foot of 1/2" clear acrylic. I'd like to be able to be able to pick the material up myself, as opposed to having it shipped, however, if it ends up being less expensive overall, I'm for it.

So, where do you buy acrylic? Of course I'm looking for most cost efficient option possible. Thanks in advance.

I don't know the exact places they get them from but a good start might be asking some of the convenience store and Chinese food take out owners about the acrylic panels that they use to surround themselves with inside their stores.
 
im in south jersey and was wondering the same thing. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for shipping but I need/want a bigger tank anyway and was thinking about building an acrylic tank for money reasons being tanks aren't exactly cheap plus dimension and space wise. where is everything plastic located at? im only 20 min roughly away from phila
 
Search acrylic aquarium on eBay. There is a guy who builds them in Butler Pa selling them on there. His prices seem very reasonable. If you want to build your own I'm sure he could sell you the acrylic.
There is also another place listing acrylic on craigslist central jersey
