Where to buy fish with out getting killed by shipping

They don’t have a web store- you can call the store or message on Facebook to order
When ordering fish online shipping is always gonna be expensive usually $40+... If I just want 1-2 fish that arnt very expensive I go to my lfs and have them order it in so you might wanna try that.. You won't pay shipping that way just pay price of fish
Seek out the online sources that are closest to your location so the charges will be as low as possible.
Yes this is true but the thing is my lfs just has like a list that yoi put what you want and they dont order it just like wait to see if it comes in or sometimes they cant order it
When you order from a LFS you are paying for shipping, but because the store may have a large order, that cost is spread out over the entire order.
They may pay $6 for a fish, but charge you $25 to cover that cost.
If they order special just for you, the fish may cost you $50.
I have found that combining cost with other fish keepers in my area can really help.
I get together with aquarist friends, or other members of the local fish club, make a large order airport to airpot, and by splitting the shipping cost, individual cost can get quite low.
Shipping airport to airport, it is often the same cost to ship 3 large boxes of fish as 1 small box using Fed -X or some other commercial big box shipper.
