Where to buy sand

I'm looking for white sand, with a large grain size. Something that won't be stirred up as easily as the cheap, fine stuff. Any online spots to order from? For that matter, does everyone ebay/google to find the cheapest supplies or do you guys have one spot?
 
If you're looking for sand you should probably buy stuff at a store because shipping would be crazy if you purchased online. Pool filter sand should be what you're looking for. You *might* be able to find it at home depot/lowes depending on where you live but if they don't you can try leslie's pool supply. If you live in nyc like me I think the nearest leslie's pool supply is in NJ and I don't know of any home depots or lowes that sells PFS(let me know if you find one :P)

your home depot or lowes should have playsand. i bought my quikrete playsand at homedepot. they are cheap something like $5-8 for a 50lb bag. my quikrete playsand looks grey in the bag but when washed and in the light it looks white and its not so fine were it flys everywhere. poold filter sand in my opinion is way to white for my liking doesnt look natural.
 
Thanks for the replies. I am in NYC, but I might check out HD out on Long Island. I'm pretty sure they'd have it.

I bought play sand from home depot and didn't care for the color they had in my area. I then went to Leslie's pool supply and bought pool filter sand instead.
