I spoke to all my lfs's, and they don't have any. One told me he hasn't seen them in a long time. I spoke to Out of Africa NJ, and he said he is asked about them all the time and none has them. Aqubid, bluegrass, livefishdirect all don't have. Davis rare fish has, but they want $10 each and$40 shipping, and I am not in any way ready to spend $100 on six fish. I live in Rockland,NY 10977 if location matters.

I know noone replied yet, but I want to just make clear I only want a small shelldweller. I do not want lepidolamprologus meeli or calcallipterus, or any other species with big males. I would prefer lamprologus ocellatus or altolamprologus compressiceps spp. Sumbu shell, but would be happy with n brevis or something like that.

Try fish hut in NJ or Atlantis, if they're still around. Also Butch at southeast cichlids can probably get some on his next German shipment, shipping may be too much though coming from Georgia.

Do you have a Cichlid Association in your area they always have fry for swap or sale atleast in my area.

Absolutely fish in Clifton, NJ has gold occelatus for sure, I think also multis and brevis but I'd call and ask.
Fish hut NJ had multis last time I was there a couple weeks ago.
Wet spot tropical fish has two types of brevis. Anybody you order them from is going to be around 10$ a fish and 40$ shipping. But the fish will be more like 15-20$ in stores too, so it will be about the same.
