where to buy snapping turtles

Are you sure they're legal in Washington. They're illegal in Oregon and California so I would be careful and double check on Washington.
 
If there are any reptile shows ever in your area you may find one there.
 
I get mine from Loggerhead Acres, the Owner there, John, is probably the most knowledgeable breeder of Snappers in the US and will help with anything Snapper related. I get my Alligator Snappers from him, and have never had an issue. website is:
