hi i am a marine biology student at uconn and i am looking into getting a ray. i have a 200 set up for it bare bottom. right now it would just be the ray. i have yet to check params but i will when i get a new test kit (my old one was expired) i have it way over filtered the turnover is like 8 times per hour. but anyway my main question is where can i get an affordable ray (college is expensive) in or around ct.

are you looking at freshwater or saltwater ray?
If Freshwater ray, might look at hystrix for that size tank..... There might be a few hystrix floating around. I think Brent might have a captive bred for sale.
If saltwater, need to check out the saltwater forum.
