Im curious where the best place online is to get Discus these days? I'm looking to get one or two strains for now just to add variety to my collection and i havent bred any in years. Thanks for the input.

I ordered from Macs discus, and these were my first mail ordered fish, and I was absolutely ASTOUNDED by their service and how the fish arrived. Such a huge strain selection as well. Only problem is that you have to buy a lot to pay for the bulk shipping cost. But the shipping rates are flat, which is nice

Thanks i forgot about Macs. Shipping doesnt bother me i just consider it a cost of doing business expense.
I read people earlier today saying Discus Origins (a vendor on here I believe) is a great source.
What type of discus are you looking for? I know these guys they wouln't steer you wrong. If you're in PA the shipping will be very reasonable or you can pick them up. Great guys and great stock.

i'm the new guy, but liveaquaria is great. the best thing i like about them is their customer service. there is always a nice lady to answer your calls. she knows all the fish and won't steer you wrong.

Ive ordered from him before and depending on what you order the quality varies a ton. Ive gotten some nice turqs and blues from him but every single pigeon I ordered was bad.
Do try Kenny. The guy will not steer you wrong and has excellent fish at great prices.
Pigeons are a long time favorite of mine too so i guess ill steer clear of macs then. Thanks for the info.
