Where to by new Impellers for Whisper Power Filters

Ok so when I bought my used 30 gallon breeder I got a whisper filter along with it. Problem is there was no dam impeller so I had to borrow my brothers impeller. His filter is only for a 20-40 gallon or so I would guess by the size. I'm not exactly sure what size mine use one is but it has two filters, one on each size and is a lot larger so I'm guessing it's for a 70-110 gallon filter.

So when I put my brothers impeller in it works but seems to not be strong enough to suck the water completely in. I can see the water rise but it never make it all the way. Soooooo........is it because the impeller is a different size, or the motor is shot or weak? Where can I buy a new impeller? I've seached the company website but there's nothing that tells you on ordering basic parts.

Any help is welcome and why the filter does not work.

Ive gotten them at www.drsfostersmith.com an at www.thatpetplace.com . other than that youll prolly have to special order them from a pet store.

so anyone knows if I just need a impeller or is my whisper filter shot.

i imagine the impeller is the wrong size, since it is spinning. i would give it a shot and try a new impeller.

if you go to petsmart or petco ask them if they have a closeout section i know when i went to mine the other day they had impellers for penguins and whispers for like 3-5 bucks a piece

thanks I'll go ask for a close out section and/or if they sell just the impellers or know where to get it.
