I will be down in Austin, Texas for a workshop meeting and I was wondering if anyone here can help direct me to a place where I will be able to catch some texas type cichlids.

Also interested in any Red ear, long ear, red breasted, red spotted sunfish if there are any.

Thanks!

If in san antonio I can tell you a spot where you can catch texas and some of those sunfish....

Dude you can catch all of those in Town Lake or "Ladybird Lake" right in down town Austin. Also any of the lakes/rivers in Round Rock or San Marcos will have them, get some biscut and a net and you can scoop dozens of Cyno fry out of the water right now. Have fun in Austin!
