thanks for your input g shock. your probably right that there is no list, atleast published on the web. someone in the cites organisation would likley have one so ill ask them or a major exporter for one. cites is sposed to keep records on them atleast.
once a country oks them being legal cites must approve by going through various things otherwise you cant import under their permits.
they go over things like environmental considerations and whether it may threaten the wild species etc. i found the export farms and their countries.
by the way, i did find a published book, millenium arowana, that contained info on japan trying breeding but without commercial success. that helps the application a lot cause it mentions they wont breed there naturally due to the 4 seasons.
