Where to get a DIAMOND BACK TERRAPIN in SOCAL?

Hi Yall,

I'm new to reptiles and always been a fish person but the DIAMOND BACK TERRAPINS are so damn cute! Where can I get these guys in SOCAL? Pls help...thanks.

They are all over the place on Long Island, can find them in a lot of estuaries. Pretty sure they are illegal to keep In captivity here though not sure about California. They are awesome turtle though good luck finding one!

DBT'S are probably my favorite turtle to keep.Check the classifieds on kingsnake.com or maybe one if the stores in your area can get one for you....If they are not one if the millions of creatures that are banned in California.

aro is banned in calif but some people are kept this fish stay low buddy...
