sad story, my 3 inch silver has ich in the stage where it doesnt want any food im afraid for it but i dont think it will surivive. im treating its tank anyway hopefully it will pull through! but my family feels bad and they want me to get another arro just in case. i said lets get a Jardini! where can i find one?

I recommend dealing with your sick fish for now. If the worst case happens, then you can clean your tank and start over. Patience always wins in this hobby.
yeah i agree you should deal with the sick fish for now. btw what are you using to treat the aro? you should try bumping up the temp to around 80ish and add some salt. i find that store bought medicines never really work when treating ich.

Explain to your family that Buying a new Aro would not solve the problem and could possibly kill the new fish also. Your water is contaminated.
Raising the temp and salt always works for me.
Temp: 86F, add some salt (forget the exact measurement but its here on MFK) for 10 days and Boom Ich be gone.

well i was treating the poor arro with super ich cure the temp was 84 degrees. it died after the water change... sad. but i know getting a new fish and putting it in a contamintaed tank is a bad idea. i wouldnt do that. if i was to get another arro though i wuld love a jardini. but where could i get one?
