Where to get aquarium sand? PH

Since I got into stingrays I am looking for a place to get aquarium sand. I have seen alot of aquarium sand but it always is geared towards saltwater tanks and I am worried it will put possibly harmful minerals being in my low in mineral amazon ray tank. Should I be worried and if so where can I get some FW aquarium sand?

Super Naturals from Carib-sea. I have 320 pounds of this stuff in black in my tank and it is awesome, dust settles within half hour after you add it to the tank and after rinsing abviously and it settles well, It is not sharp so your rays will be fine. I love the stuff and when I clean my XP3's i dont find hardly any sand in the filters. So, Im sold on this stuff and I have had my fair share of substrates and this is one of my favorites.

That site is cool and looks good but its confusing about what you are getting for the price. White sand cost 14.99 but how much white sand is that?

What color are you looking for? Alot of people use black sand with rays. Most use Estes sand and is safe for salt or freshwater aquariums.

I have the CaribSea white sand, and Ph has been not been affected. It was 19.99 from petsmarts website with free shipping(certainly beats carting 20lb bags home from the store)
 
well silica comes in many diferent grits

at my work me carry 16 grit - 60 grit silica 16 has large grains of sand and 60 is sike as fine as sugar
 
just go to the beach one day, grab some sand, wash it , and voila... you may get some nice sun also.
