Where to get BIG sheets of acrylic (6'x24')

I'm just wondering.

And how thick would it have to be for a 50,000 gallon tank?

Basically what this guy did except WITHOUT the steel crossmembers. Just one single large sheet.

Thickness depends on height not volume. You can do a 200'x200' tank with 1/4" glass aslong as you stay around 15-20". As for where to obtain the acrylic no idea. Gonna cost a pretty penny since it will have to be custom made. You would be better off with doing 8'x4' windows with few braces.
