Over there
I know a lot of you feed your eels earthworms, but I was wondering how you keep a constant supply of them. I hear not to buy them from bait shops so where else can I get them? I find a lot in my yard, but definitely not enough to feed my eel and all the other fish.

If you are feeding just a dozen or so a week you can buy them at Walmart. I think they run 3.99 for 20. I go through 500 every 2 weeks so I buy them from a wholesaler. They run $27.50 plus shipping for every 500.

I have like 30 bait stores in my town its a huge fishing central .. they have all kinds of worms

So... a bait store just make sure there pure worms and not "jumbo" "super worms" but an actual worm breed .

Just be wary of scent injected worms from shops or otherwise "altered" just pure plain crawlers.. I bu them from Cabealas atm for 2 doz at 3.99$ but plan on useing a rubbermate and buying/breeding bulk in the future. ( we don't own our house, and the worm bin was pushing it)

I went to walmart yesterday and got some earthworms, but they also had redworms so I was wondering, are these just as nutritious as earthworms? They're a lot smaller and my eel isn't large enough to take whole earthworms. Just wondering if any of you guys have had experience with these worms.
