Where To get good driftwood/bogwood

I've Seen some amazing tank set-ups with some killer pieces of wood. I'm stuck with mopani because thats all i can find. Where do you guys find your killer pieces of wood?

There's a vendor here that sells great pieces of manzanita wood.

Otherwise, you could always collect some from your local bodies of water and treat them. DIY driftwood.

I live by the Mississippi river. After the river gets high in the spring (as it always does) I walk down to one of the bends where it washes up. You can look it up in the DIY on how to treat. It's cheap and you know you found it yourself.

Is Manzanita really that good of wood? I thought anout asking manzman.

I dont trust washed up driftwood. Lost many fish to it even after I treated.

most people buy manzanita because of the shapes. it's a super hard wood, does'nt take too long to sink, and lasts for many years without breaking down.
