i want to add pothos to my tank,, i am just having a hard time
trying to figure out how/where to put it. the problem i am having
is that i have eurobracing so i was thinking of using those shower
type dishes with suction cups,, but do to the bracing i will have too
much of the plant under water... any suggestions?

i dont mind the roots at all

Simply trim/remove the leaves from the stem and stick as much as you need in the water. Eventually the stem that's submerged in the water will also propagate new roots to grow. Also, Pathos will grow better if you place it near your output with good water movement.

You could add a small internal whisper filter 10i,or 30i series I think.or float a foam ring, secured someway in place with fishing line

thats not a bad idea... the styrofoam could work

I just lay it around on the top where it was convenient, where it would get natural light, and where driftwood could help prop it up, also where roots could grow into the wood, and where roots would grow right up against the front glass, which I find very natural looking, and where sometimes timid species would find it secure enough to hide in.

i do not have driftwood yet....i might try the shower things,, i was just concerned that too much of the plant would end up under water..
